INNOCENT LANDSCAPE

When June withers the flamboyant leaves,
covering the mountains with silence and grace,
the days melt at 5 o'clock calmly
while the sleepy winds fill the space.

The dark shadows faint and die,
painting an innocent landscape,
colouring life beneath our feet,
hiding seeds that can't escape.

I look through the stained window
when fishermen shout in the sea still,
feeling weird and in exile
as if I were alone on a hill.

Untouched feelings come and go,
pressing effortlessly my eyelids
as I stay there in infinite calm
thinking of what my self forbids.
