I HAVE LESS THAN I HAD BEFORE

She is still there watching me, searing my eyes
holding my best doll in the middle of the wreckage.
She has been there waiting for redemption for ages.
I told her I have less now than I had before.
I told her to tear that unforgivable page out again.

  1. I connect with this poem. To me it is the girl within us, from a distant past that asks of us what we no longer have to give, if any at all. I loved this. The part about rip out that page... letting go and moving on. Blessings... Flower
